Hello! Brand new Supra owner just picked up mine on the 8th of December. Got $60,190 out the door from an asking price of $55,851. Attached is my window sticker and the prices part of my purchase order. Looks like under MSRP is back! NJ resident bought the car in NY

I'm asking for MSRP. Even tho the msrp of the car is 55,500.
highly doubt all that carbon fiber mirror cap and addon bullshit are factory installed.
I'm asking 65K OTD for a red premium 2023 automatic.
how much did you guys pay for yours at the time?
2022 2.0... it was already on lot, seems like someone ordered it with carbon caps, ppf, safety package, some other miniscule features -- went from 43k to 49k. Walked off the lot paying 60k. Bought it in Los Angeles, so tax alone was 5k. No mark-up.

I know it's not the same year or trim level, but the price changes are not that different between the year.

It sounds normal if you live in a city with 10%+ tax lols

If MSRP is 55k, and you are asking 65k OTD, taxes in your zip code are 10%, so $5,500. Where is the extra $4,500 from?
It can be DMV fees (I paid $600 for that), any other protections the dealer like to hassle you with (easily a few thousand), various taxes too

i got my 2022 3.0 Premium at msrp $57,055.00 OTD came out to $59,567.90
driver assist package and wheel locks $65.00 and carpet cargo mat $80.00
your OTD number shouldn't be so high
Reading through this, I feel like I've been casually ripped off by the city tax. Wtf.

If tax was $5k , and you were OTD at 60k on a $49k price, what was the additional $6k?

I don’t think you got it without markup ?

Also, $60k for a 2.0? Whatthefuuuu

The dealers must love you guys. $3900 for "various things". What other taxes? Doc fee will be a couple hundred bucks. If you get GAP insurance, maybe an extra $1k. Still leaves around $3,000 the dealer is adding on that isn't accounted for.

lmao.

Jesus...........this thread is still alive? I've already got my deposit down and waiting for a build date from Germany. The dealer better not fuck me with a markup when they get the build date confirmed or when the car arrives. I should be @ 64.5-65k with an automatic........and yea I prefer the automatic over the manual. Clutching 20 miles per day in bumper to bumper traffic drained the "enthusiast" out of me.

So my numbers were a bit off, it's been a while since I viewed the receipt, holding myself fully accountable to misinformation.
  • $52k after accessories including the $1k mark-up. The lowest I could negotiate was a $1k mark-up as most dealers were charging $10-15k mark-ups...
    • ~$500 for cash price accessories
  • ~$100 document fee
  • ~$4900 sales tax
  • ~$500 DMV registration
There's some prices I can't see on this receipt, since the calculation was off by the positives for me. I know I paid for 30-day insurance because I couldn't leave the dealer without having insurance on the car. 10PM when I finished there, I was ready to go home and sleep. ?

Total was roughly $57k.

My roommate says if I bought the car after I moved to Missouri, I would've likely paid closer to $52k max.

May have been a mistake to say this was the first car I was buying ?

What accessories did you get for $9,000?
