It gets expensive, if you are competitive like me.
I need to get my other car out there, before it sells. I haven't gotten in a solid hot lap yet...I need to redeem myself ?
I can't do weekdays, otherwise it would be fun to see some familiar peeps.
I don't really have room for it. No time either, it sits with an inch of dust on it because I only drove out around the block once per month. ?
It deserves better.
Ha ha she was like "WTF?!" LOL
There is a LOT of solace in trailering. My track car is old so I always worry. I often drive out to the track and it never let me down when I did. Everything under the skin is new, so I dunno why worry LOL.
Or maybe I trust the Supra and roadside assistance too...
Ah. I have a nice car to drive around town and a daily, so I hear ya on wanting something more racey car feeling. It is fun for a while- no lie. But the whole connect the trailer, load the race car, load all the stuff, reverse when you get home, stuff does tend to wear on you after a while...
It's nuts. I was about *this* far from a 2015 or 16 GT3. Then prices went off the hook. That started me down this road.
I'm bummed because I'll probably never own one. I refuse to pay an extra $30k even if I could. I have a short list of cars I used to want to own, at some point. I've crossed...
I bought this car so I could take a few steps back and enjoy something quick with a full interior. My other car is stripped out to make getting things in and out easier. It is not fun to drive anywhere but the track. I'll never do that again unless I have to. If I could keep the full interior, I...
I bought one of the best N/A, M/T built-for-the-race track cars out there (arguably). It was great at what it was meant to do but....I didn't feel right. I lost a ton of $$$ on the sale. It sucked and everyone told me I was crazy, but what can you do?. At least OP can realize his mistake and...
.
Don't get me wrong: I'm not saying others shouldn't do it. That's on the owner. I'm just saying that after 19yrs of dealing with piggyback systems, I don't trust them.
Especially after looking at these logs.
The "safer" map I use, the worse the car drives. I'm beginning to wonder what...
Changed to MAP2 and the TPS intervention was MUCH worse. The car completely cut power for a second. Not a fan LOL
There is a chance I have more e85 in there than I should. I'll top off with 91 tomorrow.
