Nice! It's a much more "athletic" car, IMO. I tell everyone that the Mustang was a great tool for going faster. Like a hammer. It gets the job done, though maybe not the most fun. The Supra is so much more enjoyable to drive. It's smaller, lighter, and feels much more alive. Again, IMO, of...
They are the most fun to have in a car. I had a 350R for a few months. It was a GREAT track car, but didn't feel right for me. Really fast, though. In fact, after only eight laps, I was only 2 seconds off my personal best in the Evo.
So far only one track day and an autox. It did great considering it's 100% stock.
CEL comes back every other week or so. I'm trying to figure out what triggers it.
I swapped a DP because I bought the car for the track. I figured less heat= healthier engine. But I'm fighting CELs. After testing a few anti fouler combinations, I'm still dealing with an occasional O2 heater code.
I tried to buy a handful of Supras off of carvana. I had one done, then they told me there is an issue with it not passing smog. From that point on, I couldn't get carvana to let me select one for purchase. All of them had disclaimers saying not for sale in california.
I can't believe how many people I come across that swear on these tires and I can't figure out why. I used to know an entire group that ran them because they just couldn't find any other "track tire" in their sizes.
I try to tell them about all the better options out there, but they just won't...
If I decide to run a JB4 around town to have some fun, how hard is it to disconnect it, while at the race track? Can I do it on the app? Do I just need to un-bypass the sensors and plug them all back in as normal?
I'm okay with either, but it sure would be cool if I could do it without getting...
I think I just found that if I'm cruising in manual and I hold down the left paddle, it will shift down to the most appropriate gear for acceleration. Shortcut or did I imagine it, three or four times?
