There is slop. My car has 2500 miles on it and it's got slop.
If you haven't driven a car with an AS SSK or a 997 GT3 or 05 Ford GT, it's got slop.
It's not bad for a factory effort but there's a ton of rubber in the linkage and with time it will fail.
It's $600 bucks but it's a $60k car...
"The main point of installing this, is to completely eliminate shifter slop which this car will eventually have inherently because it's a BMW product."

Thanks bro, once I can comment on it, I will give feedback to Ron and also post it up here.
It will be a special order item but it's well worth the cost (has been in every BMW I've owned and it's not like I'm new to the brand).
IDK what the video was talking about but this kit doesn't reduce throws.
All 6 kits made are exactly the same with mine having the autocross cartridge as a test.
We specifically designed the kit to retain stock throw length.
The main point of installing this, is to completely eliminate...
The Autosolutions kit is the development kit that I helped make.
It's being installed currently as a prototype in my car.
I should have it by hopefully tomorrow.
My car is the development car for this kit.
I sent Ron the stock lever and DSSR to make the kit.
It's being installed this week.
Ron and I have been working together on a few different BMW kits for a while as well, every car in my sig has an Autosolutions SSK.
Yes they kept the hydraulic steering for a while, tbh up until 2013 BMW was steering decent.
Now they suck.
I actually Turo the same Fiesta ST every time I'm in LA, I love that thing.
The 981 GT4 didn't sound good though. That Carrera engine was putting out claims like no other.
In the end, it was a good effort, but I can see why people didn't go nuts for one vs. the 718.
I do want to stress, I know the 4.0 in the 718 isn't the same as the GT3 engine, so there's that...
Drove one.
Yea it's gonna be a no.
Manual sucks/traditional BMW shifter slop brand new out the gate.
Touchscreens everywhere is AIDS.
S58 might be a beast of an engine but it sounds horrid.
Weight was noticeable, it's larger and wider than the outgoing F87.
Overall, I think it's...
TBH, the Supra stock tips are already 4 inches.
So for it to make sense you gotta go up at least to 4.5 - 5.
Honestly I'm probably just gonna have some better looking tips just welded on.
Bro I'm not even lying, I drove my 04 M3 to go test drive the 981 GT4 and my M3 (heavily modified but not a $115k car) was a better experience.
I can't imagine paying $100k for a used car and STILL having to mod it.
That doesn't sit right with me.
And it's not like modding a Porsche is...
