I have read the owner's manual quite thoroughly and unfortunately I have to say I didn't find this info in there.
It simply says that the electronic function to measure the oil will tell you when/if to add oil, but there's no 'normalization' or figures on oil consumption.
Maybe, just maybe, I...
Yeah I got the 3.0 Gr Supra Manual (non pro) in Summer '22, and it has the seats you described, so unless they're doing some hybrid spec (highly unlikely) it sounds like they're talking out their backside and it's not a Pro.
Oh. My. I freaking love this thing!!! ??
On the extremely rare times I see this around, I go wild! And no one around me gets it ??
And on the other stuff: Agree 100%, my Supra's interior is beyond sanity clean, and garage kept, so the paint should remain nice and glossy for many years to come...
Welcome, same here haven't used a forum in 10 years roughly - this one is fairly active, primarily for modified Supra related threads, and about 3.5 million "JB4" threads from what I've experienced, but also general Supra info and a few nice off topic / lounge threads.
Hope you find what you...
I had the same experience, I noticed most of the trouble is when I start focussing too much on the finishing/perfection stage, that 95%-100% range can end up ruining everything.
Like you, now I focus on frequent washes, using quality products and the right tools, clean mitts and towels, and it...
I watch a lot of car detailing youtube channels, and for such a long time I always wondered (to the point of being annoyed!) why they always started with a quick pressure washer spray pointing to the ground? ?‍♂️
Then, eventually, finally one dude explained why, and the reason they do it is...
Okay, I'll come clean ? after a full page of reading your stories, thanks to all for sharing by the way, nice good lighthearted read, I am starting to feel a liiiittle better knowing I'm definitely not alone in having committed car cleaning unforgivable crimes and tragedies ??
Feels like some...
Exciting! Let us know how it goes with your quest, there's plenty of people on here with an MT now, with plenty of mileage already, so generally speaking safe to say most people are enjoying it.
Other than a few potential teething issues, for stock models I haven't heard of anything serious/no...
Bugs: Autofinesse - Citrus Power - some good deals around ebay for the 5L version, cost effective.
For Tar and Glue, this one is superb: AutoBrite - Just the Tonic.
Wheel brush: the best and safest one is undoubtedly Wheel Whoolies; expensive, but great for barrels but don't get the large one...
You know what I agree, I'm freaking terrified of that lol I have ocd with seeing all the dust particles on it, but as others said it seems like it's easy to make it even worse with swirls!
I'm not the type of dyi guy to have a miniature polisher or something and start buffing my freaking gauge...
Howdy mate
Seems like slightly too much IMO, if that was normal that would mean like over 1 litre of oil consumption in 6k/7k ish miles which is roughly a regular service interval, hence why I think it seems excessive perhaps.
Will let the more experienced b58 gurus here chime in - from what I...
Not sure if this helps but in terms of projections there is very sparse data points to make any valid forecasts.
Most recent example is the UK market, the Manual Supra was only on sale for about 1 year only, and just a couple of weeks ago has vanished from the Toyota Uk website/build software...
I am huge into detailing, my Supra is a garage queen so I strive to keep it shiny. However, I found that ironically, when I try too hard, i.e. exceeding 3-4 hrs wash process, I get super tired, and I can start getting sloppy/making mistakes, which defeats the purpose all together of a perfect...
[Arguably "wrong" section? In my mind this is a genuine question about the B58 engine and transmission and optimal setup for top performance/launch - but hey torch me alive for wrong forum section if your panties are in a twist!)
Hey guys, I pamper my Supra a lot, but since I got it, I knew...
Wow (sorry OP going offtopic) that is so exciting man, good luck!
NSX is deffo one of my all time faves...
I wad in Montecarlo, Monaco last summer, as you expect, everyone car spotting and mirin Lambos and boring sh1t like that, and there was this mint, stunning, red NSX, will never forget...
