Hard to tell but if you can feel it 'gritty' with your nail and the plastic is scratched, will be very hard to fix. If it's some kind of dirt, personally I'd start with just a wet cloth, then move to a very mild all purpose cleaner, and only then onto something like alcohol, you don't want to...
