Wow, that looks amazing.
Why are there "patent images" of this? Why is that not a thing with every other car out there, like the Supra that we are all waiting to see?
I still highly doubt those numbers, and generally doubt most of the "news" I read about this car. It may only be 300hp, but I think it's unlikely to be less than that. I would expect the next 86 to be much too close to 240hp for the Supra to be sitting there also. Could be totally wrong, but I...
I still maintain that if there's no manual I'm not buying. If I have to get a base 4-cyl to get a manual I don't necessarily have a problem with that as long as it drives nicely.
I don't see a good reason to own this car with an auto. I'd go with a Lexus RC if that's what I wanted, but more...
I haven't looked into them that much, but I was actually surprised to see the 0-60 is only .3 slower in the h with over 100hp less. The hybrid doesn't seem to look as good with the smaller wheels so you're losing some style just to get 35mpg, which I guess isn't bad for a car that size. Still...
The FT1 doesn't look bad with 21s, but functionally I'd prefer something smaller. Plus the FT1 is larger than the Supra. I think 19's are a good compromise.
That's ridiculous. What is the point of that? Not only is it useless from a performance standpoint, but they don't even look big on the car because the car is designed around 20" wheels. Back when everyone cared about having 20" wheels it was because they looked big. Now designers are making the...
If that price jump from the 4cyl to 6cyl is accurate I'd suspect that 6cyl does have some type of hybrid configuration to justify the cost. As far as the 4cyl price that's what I expected, but I hoped the 6cyl was in the $50-60k range. For $70k that better be Toyota's new TT V6 under the hood...
Agreed. I would say that your $60k Supra will get it's ass handed to it by this 600hp, $150k+ Lexus, and that should be no surprise. Although it may be surprisingly close with the weight differences, but I'd say the LCF would be the clear winner. That doesn't mean "better" to me.
The FT1, while I'd love to have a production version, would have easily been a $100-150k car. I'm happy to see as much of it carried over as we do see so far because I didn't even expect that much. Personally, I hope they don't have a clear hood because it seems kind of cheesy to me.
It's a high performance turbocharged sports car. The aftermarket will go to whichever engine they put in it. Of course the BMW aftermarket is already established and ready to go so there's a lot less to figure out from the start.
I want to see them come back with the sleek styling that they had in the 90's (aside from the S2000). I think that Mazda can do a pretty good job of that, but nothing I've seen from Nissan shows me that they can.
I had a '91 300ZX and people (dumb people) mistook it for a Ferrari, Lamborghini...
