Well, not much to add other than I am starting to get anxious for the end of track season. I only have 6 planned for Oct and Nov and now that the number is finite, I am starting to look for drywall to chew on.

I leave the pieces out when i install stuff just like you described with the harness bar. I have a box with all the parts so if i have too I can put back to stock. I am kind of at the point of no return and wavering. The little plastic pieces don't really help weight wise. race seats help...

LOL Miatas are great to learn on. Everyone should learn on a momentum car if serious about race craft. These days a better option (to me) are the twins FRS/86 Miatas are basically rolling traffic cones ;) Can be frustrating when I do TT. I better put down my best time before lap 3 or 4...
