    for cripes sake i work at Taco Bell... School wasn't my thing. Fingers crossed a race team calls me! But, probably just to make their sandwiches....

    Meh, owning a sports car in general is a bad decision. Racing one even more so. you only live once- got promoted at Taco Bell so that along with living in my mom's basement I can swing it. I have to feed her cats and mow the lawn every once and a while.

    Won SCCA max 2 and second fastest lap time overall for the weekend PB time for my home track so I was pushing a bit Very fun time with scca friends in the paddock

    Don’t do it. Mine is track only Yes! You can smell it. Lol. Only bad if on a tight pit lane waiting long for release. Otherwise I am going track speeds w windows down. It would be unbearable daily or even weekend car

I (but i am a little nuttier than most) would start at 27. you are never going to get to optimum tire temps if you run for 40 secs and then wait 20 mins- repeat in 50 deg weather I would do this despite possible excessive wear on the...

    Really well put and great points. I am a BMW fan and owner AND have also complained about the weight and size. My e46 M3 would look small compared to the new M2 but is still relatively heavy for a 2002- 3400lbs! BMW has always built really strong and tough cars. I kind of see that now... Us...

    I have a back up axle and rear diff because it is a little loose in a couple places on passenger side. Going to run it until failure. 23,000 almost all track miles in 3 years and I can smell my first failure coming....

    def looks good. It DOES help stiffen the chassis. Will you notice?- doubt it.

    kids.... I could have a full time race team if i never had kids... 2 off payroll and adulting adults.... 1 more jr in college.
