I have always liked going against conventional and in the black and red run groups where the majority are Porsche, track prepped vettes, BMW. I like being the odd ball.
Meh, owning a sports car in general is a bad decision. Racing one even more so. you only live once- got promoted at Taco Bell so that along with living in my mom's basement I can swing it. I have to feed her cats and mow the lawn every once and a while.

My e46 M3 would look small compared to the new M2 but is still relatively heavy for a 2002- 3400lbs! BMW has always built really strong and tough cars. I kind of see that now...

I have a back up axle and rear diff because it is a little loose in a couple places on passenger side. Going to run it until failure.
