https://a.co/d/068LQprH here's the lip rep I use, it's pretty good quality for the money and decent fitment, but your mileage may vary.
Don't have any better pics on hand atm though.
They definitely have to go with MR2 or Celica and can't really have both if both are going to be mid-engined. Doesn't really make sense unless it's gonna be 86 vs Supra where one is low power light weight and the other is higher power and more premium.
I could see the MR2 being made in the...
The GR Corolla is a pretty sick car, and in person it looks a lot better than in photos (seems to be the case with 95% of cars these days....), "hot hatches" grew on me quite a bit as I've gotten older and I think it's the best one that's out now. Don't really love the interior though, heard bad...
Installed the Seibon vented hood I bought from DarkZupra as well as some Aerocatch hood pins. Surprisingly I don't mind the black, or at least, I can live with it for some time while I consider if I'd rather paint match it silver or wait until I get some fenders and then look at wrapping the...
You really do need to keep in mind that sales people are hired to make money and as such aren't interested in helping with problems or refund requests. That's what service and management is for. In my experience Toyota service people have always been some of the best you can get from a...
As someone who lives in Florida and doesn't know what a winter is, having remote start would be awesome to get the AC running before I get in to the car.
The other reason some people like it is so they can hear the initial startup and cold start from outside the car, but that novelty gets old...
I wouldn't really mess with IAT spoofing tbh. I'm worst-case scenario (Florida heat and humidity and a 23.5 PSI Jesse map) and the only times my IAT's get high enough to pull timing or cause throttle closures is on long pulls to over 100 MPH; and you'll virtually never go past 90-95 on public...
any kind of tuning, even through a piggyback like JB4, can be detected when the car is serviced and thus could void powertrain warranties. Just worth keeping that in mind before you tune. This includes if you flash the ECU to stock settings or remove the piggyback, they can still see that the...
There's plenty of errors that can show up via an OBD reader that won't throw a warning light. For example I had oil pressure warnings before my pump began to fail that wouldn't throw any lights.
If you don't have one / aren't willing to get one, you can drive to Autozone and use their OBD...
Welcome! (Soon)
Biggest piece of advise is to use the forum's search features to find answers to questions that get asked frequently (what oil to use, what mods to do first, ways to reach power goals, common problems, etc)
Did an oil change (yesterday), finally swapped to 5w30.
Still amazed at how easy the oil change is, having the filter accessed by the top rather than having to unga-dunga it at an odd angle while deep under the car is great.
Huh, my 370 with long tube headers had an exhaust cutout before the mufflers that pointed downwards undernear the middle of the car making it straight piped when open, and it was loud as a mf (granted NA vs turbo), I'm surprised it's quiet with your setup.
from what I can see the only part that would conflict is the small angled part at the bottom, it'll be a tight fit, if not requiring a tiny bit of cutting to the factory spats.
If the spats are dirt cheap from a Toyota parts website, you could always one piece and have someone else from the...
E40 OTS maps from MHD or BM3 should get you somewhere in the 470-500 WHP range. Custom tune can get you a tad over 500 if it's an aggressive map, but I don't think a custom tune is worth it on stock turbo unless the OTS maps aren't smooth / run poorly.
As for mods, there really is nothing...
