DIM_CURVE_X2 Vs Dim_Variant Screen Brightness

Was wondering does anyone have any input on the DIM_CURVE_X2 for the dash and nav screens. Only saw a couple of mentions of it as a viable alternative to the Dim_Variant, as I find it extremely too bright at night but I can’t reduce the brightness without it also subsequently dimming it during the day.

also, does it decrease the orange light brightness of the climate/radio/main console buttons?

I did this version of the dim curve x2 since my gauge cluster was too dim during the day time. I initially did the the dim variant, but it didn't do anything to the gauge cluster brightness.

It did make my gauge cluster brighter, and I didn't notice any difference in the brightness of the climate/console buttons.

Just did the Dim Curve x2 yesterday and it seems to be brighter at night to just need to adjust it down so it doesn't blind you but haven't tested it during the day yet, but hopefully it has fixed being the screen being slighty to dim! cause reversing out of the garage its way to dim.
