  1. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

yes, just try to keep trims 40-45 at max. however much E that takes. Consider trims as your E% gage. typically hotter temps trims will be lower. when its hot, dme boost targets go higher. so where you may see 12 psi in the cold, its 16 when hot. If your boost add is always +5psi on map 6, you...
  2. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Yep the new connector can make E40 possible
  3. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Boost fluctuates based on IATs. Your map 6 is definitely more boost than Map 1 in the same conditions.
  4. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Map 1 is a good fit typically.
  5. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

yessir, feel free to send a log for review anytime. See if its still as good as it can be. E20-25 is a good spot without the upgrade.
  6. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Its kind of map dependent, but under 3 gal per tank is fine (<~E25) If you aren't sure, start with 2 gal and watch trims. aim to keep under 45.
  7. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

agree with @ZeroNegativeOne . JB+ is fine to keep if you are on 91. Just keep it around the halfway mark or lower on the knob. No fuel pressure connection needed without e blending typically. Yes new devices come with P158 already on em. JB4s biggest benefit for you would be the logging and...
  8. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

I went jb+ to JB4 with catless dp. It was worth it for me since I wanted to e blend. For you, the main benefit would be viewing your logs.
  9. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

yeah of course, like a log review or custom map?
  10. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

yeah you get credit back on sending your old board I think. So it is still cheap hp/dollar.
  11. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

that is perfectly fine, boost goes up with IATs (and timing down) FP upgrade is a good buy since you can run like 4 gallons E and up to +7psi targets or higher
  12. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

    Completely normal. Try to keep trims under 45 though, reduce E or boost in the affected RPM range I recommend a tapered boost curve for E blend cars. (like an E20-E25 example here) map6_15 map6_20 map6_25 map6_30 map6_35 map6_40 map6_45 map6_50 map6_55 map6_60 map6_65 map6_70 1.8 2.3 2.8...
  13. SUPRA ULTIMATE B58 JB4 GUIDE AND LOG REVIEW (V1)

Gave the initial post a little update for 2025 regarding new P158 firmware , fuel pressure control upgrade, wastegate tuning changes and recommended settings. JB4 has never been more capable for Supras than now, even MTs.
  14. Reduced Fuel Milage after High Flow Catted Downpipe

Yep if anything DP would improve mpg. Less work done by the engine to pump the turbo to the same boost targets.
  15. 2023 Toyota GR Supra A91-MT – CU Later Gray – 6-Speed Manual – $20K+ in Mods – 10,300 Miles

  16. 2024 MT MHD Stg 2+ Strange Intermittent Boost Issues. Limp Mode?

even 91 stage 2 mhd tunes kill these clutches lol. anything over 500wtq is hit or miss.
  17. Gen 2 or Gen 3 B58

    I wish ?
  18. Gen 2 or Gen 3 B58

Sure would have been nice to get PI from the factory on our Gen 2s though...
  19. AA Catted DownPipe CEL

cat simulator/spacer is like $50 and works fine on our cars. get whatever downpipe you want with it http://bigdaddiesgarage.com/ has em, amongst others. That's essentially what Kenji/Armytrix uses and I've never heard of anyone getting CEL even catless (including me)
  20. Toyota Finally Added OEM Wind Buffeting Deflectors??

Exactly the same. threw the AMS ones on week 1 of the car, completely forgot wind buffeting is a thing until youtuber reviewers talk about it like it ruins the car entirely ?
