Literally just impulsively ordered it because I wasn't happy with the JB4 performance one morning. 😆
genuinely my time spent learning car tune stuff is better spent learning how to do MHD than it is to fool around on JB4 anymore. I think I did the most I could for the MT cars at this point.
Going set and forget on an MHD OTS is not my plan (though I'll give it a try). I'll be working with the BEF until I can better learn the boost control stuff of MHD and then I'll just do my own flash entirely with no JB4.
Nah Full e85 is not possible with locked ecu, stock flash. it will run too lean. Start with only 2 gallons E85 in the tank, it doesn't take a lot to make a big difference.
I agree that 1st is a bit short on these cars, so ratio 1st to 2nd is too large, also I find that 2nd-3rd is also too large of a jump, however 4th-5th is incredibly close. I'm sure there's some BS emissions/MPG reason for it.
yeah I mean your timing isn't even great on map 0, would recommend finding a way to boost octane, or you could maybe try IAT spoofing at 120-130 to bring down timing some to get fewer corrections.
The closures aren't bad enough to worry about for now.
I'll check back tomorrow and see if you've got any more seeth to edit to this post. You are so pressed over nothing dude lol, we are both trying to provide tuning info to the community.
For the record, I fully understand tuning fuel and timing tables in MHD and have done so on several cars with...
yeah for the DME's PID on AT cars, no such logic in JB4.
Look at calc_tq, he is at the torque target the entire pull
ecu_psi technically 2+ psi below dme_bt, calc torque is still at target. MTs are weird dude lol. Given Aux3 (max 80), the turbo is at 91% WGDC total and shows slight oscillating...
