Yeah.. despite having dozens of spare engine harnesses laying around, I'm never going to tap a wire on the car, at the very least, cut, splice and solder.
FWIW- I have had some reflex issues. There are a handful of serial numbered boxes that don't play well with a build motor for whatever reason.
The harness itself, I've never had an issue with, but always add appropriate PnP connectors/DTMs to it to make it plug in place. I'd also argue this Motiv provided harness is substantially harder to install.
- If the DA was the same on both nights (you can check on airdensityonline.com, they have historical)
- And the only change was exhaust
- And no tune
You picked up 3 tenths from either driver mod or the trans is shifting better, or something. But you're not gonna gain 60hp from just downpipe...
I'd be incredibly suspicious that you picked up 5mph from an exhaust, more than surprised anyway. Slips and logs would be incredibly interesting to see.
That fitting is impossible to reach.
Well... not impossible, but fucking close. Manifold needs to come off to reach the bolt from the top, or you can try a U shaped wrench from the bottom.
FWIW- we usually keep that particular breather disconnected on the race cars.
