I'm in the camp of the manufacturer didn't spend millions of dollars to put a pure800 on the car or run more that 15-16psi of boost, and you should use an appropriate oil for your application. Using the water that BMW recommends for their all weather USA fuel-economy based application is foolish...
There aren't really higher maps; there are different maps.

Map0: Stock tuning, fully disable JB4
Map1: Additive map with peak of 3psi over stock added (91 octane)
Map2: Additive map with peak of 4psi over stock added (91-93 octane)
Map3: Additive map...
That's only half of the badge though. Is that intended? The factory badge is two parts, the face and the backing plate, which is held in with three pins. It's easy to do that bit. It's the underside that's difficult.
If you're 2021+ there is a plastic cover on top, you remove that by pushing the sides towards the middle, then there is a "tab" on the actual map. You can pop it out with a pry tool.
