Rather than remove/unplug it, I'm pretty sure you can just code out the charging function, if that's your pleasure. Also, the charging issues are a well known #bmwthing.
Yeah, I believe you. I just like the marketing images but in real life I would probably hate it the same way I generally hate wide-body kits, etc. The white on black/neon yellow/green and new shape just gives it a really unique look online.
This thread just popped up and I have to say that after a few years of living with the car, I have gotten used to it. The only thing I find annoying about the hill start is its inconsistency. Having said this, over time I have found it not as intrusive as I initially remember it to be. 🤷♂️
I'm not sure I'd get a shop to replace a shift knob. It's pretty easy on the Supra and there's some great information on this forum about exactly how to do it. Also, don't forget that there's nobody who cares about getting it right as much as the person who is going to be using that shift know...

EDIT: Here's ChatGPT's attempt.. not sure why it insists on making changes other than colour even when it's expressly told not to. 😓 A fair indication at any rate.. not loving it to be honest
While I don't want to jinx it, I've done a few hundred kilometers and the CEL seems to be gone.
The problem: A fucking fuse.
After about 8 months of the CEL appearing at random and replacing an o2 sensor, it turns out that my CEL was due to a faulty god damn fuse. The fuse was half melted...
The Supra is a very unique car, punching well above its weight visually. An M more than one number will always look pedestrian by comparison and has comparatively very little street presence.. but as others have pointed out, it is way more practical, just as quick or quicker out the gate and the...
Unfortunately, everything is a rabbit hole.. depends how deep you want to go and how much money you want to throw at it. Most (hopefully all) detailers will colour correct before applying a clear coat and/or PPF.
And besides, you should never ever trust a stealer. Ever.
MY23 MT with Awe Touring (resonated) with aftermarket 200CSPI down-pipe; stock intake with K&N filter; MHD OTS Stage 2 98 RON tune and burbles activated.
Just as an aside, I think it sounds much better on the move and in person, like most exhausts.
