600-650 tq is pushing it on the stock trans. At those levels, prepare for a damaged trans after a while.

Part numbers aren't helpful, unfortunately, as they blend between 1st and 2nd gen B58s, but the 2019- X7 (40i only) ECUs are definitely good donor ECUs. Good job, dude. For some reason I figured you'd find one.

Of course, it doesn't add value to the car. Modifying in any way typically reduces value (especially perceived value), but saying an unlocked ECU isn't an improvement is... batshit insane.
