I learned to live by the rule that "one is none, and two is one" with many things. Never rely on a single potential failure point if a second option is easily available.
I also wanted to mention that when parking on an incline, after setting the parking brake, it's good practice to place the...
I have no idea what I'm looking at in your second and third photos, but the Air Conditioner evaporator box has a water drain that's in that general area. Water will drip out anytime the A/C is running or has recently been used.
EDIT: Here's just an example of a modern BMW drain hose, and they...
A guy I know, purchased a mint, low mileage 2020 Nocturnal Launch Edition shortly after I scored the A91-MT, and he actually turned down my test drive offer, because, he said (to my face) "I'm afraid to drive it, because I know I'm gonna want it!"
I scored a used one from another forum member, and it was $515. I've been doing research on eliminating my CEL for a long time, and the Armytrix is by far the most effective thing I've seen. There's never a guarantee it will eliminate the CEL, but I haven't yet heard anyone say it came back...
Physics also tells me that the biggest single wiper blade in history will never be able to move fast enough to safely clear water in even a mild rainstorm, let alone a heavy one. The tip speed would have to break the sound barrier FFS.
There's still zero proof the GRMN, if they make it, will have that engine.
I honestly have no desire for the S58. Its increased TT complexity, cost, and lousy exhaust note are all things to sway me against it, and seriously, it's not that hard to make 500-600 whp with the B58 as it is...
I dyno'd my stock 2021 with and without the catless DP, no tune or supporting mods. I gained 39 ft lbs of torque and 17 whp. Substantial increase in torque through the whole powerband, and the turbo spools noticeably quicker. The DP replacement is a must on these cars.
I've got one on the way from @NitroYellowMKV and I know the quality is going to be stellar! Pretty sure my design (he helped) is one of one at this point, and I can't wait to get my hands on it..
Tossable is the term I'm used to, and it's quite a compliment to any machine. My old (now the backup/guest) snowmobile fits that category, and it basically means the handling is so well sorted and confidence inspiring, that one can purposely throw it into a corner with reckless abandon...
