I disagree, because the contrast looks more factory-trick, and mostly because after the paint dries, the moment you put a socket on them you'll f*ck up the paint at the pressure points. It's hard enough to not leave marks on them with a socket in their raw finish..

Reviving this thread for my fellow yellows! I painted mine with Rust-Oleum Gloss Marigold, which is not a perfect match, but so damn close that nobody has ever noticed.

Just remember that no journalist drove an actual production model. They were all pre-production test cars, so things are going to be different for the finished customer vehicles.

Actually yes! I've been checking every day, and it was still QC hold yesterday.

I haven't seen the QC hold lifted yet...EDIT: Praise the Lord it's been lifted! I tried to get my Monroney Label (window sticker) PDF but the TIS link can't bring it up.

I certainly don't think it'd be an issue. If anything, the manual trans housing should be smaller than the automatic's.
