Yes I know you can wax PPF, but it's not the same. I also see hand waxing as the most intimate ritual with a car. You learn every nook and cranny, and can stand back and see the results when you're done. It's extremely therapeutic, and one can truly enter 'flow' while doing it...
I'm living in the middle of it all. I ONLY do PPF on the high-risk areas, like front bumper cover and fenders (behind the front wheel on these cars), and just maybe the mirror caps. I prefer to leave the hood raw so I can enjoy hand-waxing it with the rest of the car, and know that I could...
Most of the people who think it's really ugly, have never actually seen one in person. When they finally do, most are very impressed and suddenly want one for themselves.
A catless downpipe is always a great investment, but seeing you're in LA, a high performance catted downpipe will still make a big difference in both power and sound.
Same thing here. People think it's twice as expensive as it actually is, and I've used the line "Dude, your (insert 1/2 ton truck or midsize crossover name) literally cost more than this!"
I REALLY want to know which solution is working for people. Straight or 90* spacers? Fabspeed or other brand mini-cat simulators? My last resort would be to buy the Armytrix pipe w/simulator, but that's a big price swing to get rid of a MIL.
The most unoriginal person ever, that's who.
But seriously, that plate is already taken in every state. It's one of the oldest plate ideas out there in the sports car/drag car world.
I think we've kinda hijacked this thread into a general conversation and show & tell your own custom plates. Let me indulge..
I have personalized plates on all my vehicles, but somehow this car has only worn ones that generate controversy. You've been warned..
First plate, summer of 2021...
I kinda know how to find things ;)
@a90aloy SORRY FOR THREAD HIJACK, FORGIVENESS PLEASE?!
PS: Why did you take them off only 200 miles later? Noise? Not enough drop?
