Yeah but let's be honest with ourselves..most AT owners cane their vehicles so often that they never get high MPG anyways. Especially with mods and E30.
How about drinking grain alcohol and rocking out to black metal? :headbang:
Would you be able to encase these within a UV-stabilized acrylic, like the OEM does? That extra wind resistance of the exposed metal is really gonna slow people like @zrk down
Has Nissan actually given the 91 octane power numbers then, considering the claimed 400 crank hp is on a fuel 75% of us don't have easy access to?
There's a few non-turbo vehicles out there where the owner's manual actually spells out that you lose like 3-5 hp on mid-grade vs premium fuel..
I only hate them when they're obviously fake. A catless, genuine tuned turbo car will have some major bangs on up shifts as actual unburnt fuel ignites downstream of the turbo, often with a visible flame out the tailpipe. That is always neat.
I'm in the same situation, as I did get a price at one point, and then the Dealer Cost & MSRP went to zero in the allocation system. So, I actually don't know what I'll be paying for it, but I'm sure it'll be a little more than the original quote. Nothing anyone can really do about that.
The infamous "Spot-Free" rinse at the end of an automated carwash is essentially distilled water, which is free of minerals & contaminants (also known as Total Dissolved Solids).
I've spent the last ten years with Toyota, and I can tell you that I've seen more 0W-20 filled 200,000+ mile RAV4s & Prius' than you can shake a stick at. Almost all of these are 10,000 mile interval customers, and the engines are tight and healthy as can be. For a regular, daily driven...
A speed shop owner buddy of mine has a fully-built 1986 Gran National, whos 600hp V6 turbo engine is nearing the end of its life. Instead of building that up again, he's wanting to make a dramatic departure, and looking into acquiring Model S Plaid powertrain components..
I think we're gonna...
Honestly, I'm not expecting to see anything until as late as mid-October. In these times, just plan for the worst and hope for the best. I don't much care when I take delivery, as long as it gets here unharmed and at the right price.
