Yes, they certainly do. It literally will not allow the rear wheels to spin more than a couple revolutions before locking the brake and screaming at you with all kinds of warnings.
My experimental solution is not gloss black, or remotely pretty at all for that matter, buuutt.... It only cost me five minutes of my time, and works perfectly at all speeds, even 120+ mph.
I'd post mine, but then I'd have to spend the next ten posts defending myself and informing sensitive people (with no sense of humor) that I'm not a Nazi.
FWIW, it's not even on the car anymore, as I got a much funnier plate on the way
Counter-sue the living f*ck out of the dealership for their gross negligence. The kid not having a valid driver's license should make it an open and shut case.
Welcome to the club, and ignore all of the 'poo-poo on the 2.0' nonsense! You'll have a blast with the car, and unlike Camaro & Mustang, which proudly broadcast that you didn't get the good one with a V8, there's little to no obviously-visible indicators that the 2.0 is a 'lesser' car. You're...
THIS. I've never seen more reckless nonsense in my life than how these Mopar guys drive. It's a miracle that a two-ton boat can change lanes that fast, and it makes me glad I gave up my Challenger Scat-Pack hunting to buy a Supra instead. It's like having a Tesla, the car might be okay, but I...
I'm in the same boat, spoiler must match the satin areo trim on the bottom. I bought one from Extreme Dimensions, and they gave me the impression it was ready for installation, but it needs to be sanded and painted, so I'll have to get it to my body shop first.
Of course there's some riff-raff here and there, but everybody generally loves this car.
Granted we do give each other quite a bit of sh!t, but we're car guys, it's what we're good at.
Yeah, that looks correct.
I locked in my position as first on our "list" for the MT yesterday. The real nail-biter for me is wondering what color combos I'll be able to pick from.
That's what the biggest holdup most likely was, was the need for a Supra manual to be able to live up to the "Supra" reputation. In terms of shifting feel and durability, it has to be on point, and that was gonna take some time.
Tom, thank you for the exquisite, detailed response, and for understanding my "tone" on the question.
As frustrating as this problem is, it's also a pretty good one to have, business-wise, because you can sleep well knowing there's a sizeable group of (future & current) customers out there...
