I haven't tried that, that could work at home? but not really anywhere else, wouldn't feel comfortable doing that at the office for instance

It's not a proximity problem, I'm not that lazy? I could go out and fire it up but I don't like to leave the car running and unlocked, and there's now way of locking it with the engine running maybe I'm just paranoid ?

Functionality at speed could maybe be tested with the old pre computer age wind tunnel trick with strings attached to the bodywork? Pull one out and see if there's a difference in the airflow at speed

Sorry buddy but I fail to see the problem in that.. I open the garage remotely before I go out anyway, so I don't have to stand and wait for it in the cold.. would just open it a few min earlier when starting the car. You would understand if you lived in a cold climate ?

I couldn't agree more, simple things like steering wheel heating or ambient light, not to mention electric boot opening should be available, at least as an option
