1270kg 400Z? Sure lol. My 86 weights around 2800lbs lol. If 400Z is lighter than 1500kg in basic trim and manual with its twin turbo V6 it will be very good already.
If not 86 than it has to be new performance hot hatch I guess. Thats not super unlikely. But it was supposed to debut in fall 2022.
Time will tell, below 2 weeks left ;)
What else it could be if not GR86?
-The EV is supposed to be revealed this year but would it be marketed under GR? The emphasis is put quite heavily on GR since there is president of Gazoo Racing speaking on the event.
-The AWD hatch they are making together, not much is known about it, no mules...
No idea in the US, here in EU I asked around, every1 offers custom dyno tune. No1 told me about ECU being "locked", they tune b48 330i BMW's all the time.
Think about adjustable sway bars too to combat body roll.
It wont be racecar without proper brakes, the stock ones are good for street but overheat easily on the track, I heared (C&D said that on their Lightning Lap 2021 challenge it only took 1 fast lap to overheat them and they het to let go)...
Dunno, wouldnt do it anyway ;)
I'd put all cash into suspension, brakes +aero and then making it lighter, goal would be to go below 1350kg. If anything was left by that point maybe a small power bump to round 300hp, but power would be the last thing I would touch.
Even heavier? I think they should try to make it lighter, not heavier, targetting 14xx kg. I know its nothing confirmed at this point but bestcar got some pretty good sources overall, they may be right, time will tell.
S58 + 520hp + this wheelbase = brutal to drive :D
Also wonder what aero to...
Ye they do look better in person. Still polarizing. My fav gen is still M3 e92 in GTS trim tho ;)
Supra from some angles also can look awkward and irl it looks stunning imo.
Review compilation in the link ;)

How do You like the brakes? So did You weight stock brakes after all?
Did the springs help with body roll? How much camber gain front/rear after springs?
Or a garage queen for now still? :D
I ment 2.0 with Brembo brakes, they are part of the Sport Package here in EU, but even with them it stops worse than 3.0, despite being lighter. Also, the tire width is the same 255 front and 275 back..
Maybe its the Supra decals after all :p
I mean in general, 2.0 stops worse than 3.0, even with Brembo brakes, having looked on other test results, not only on this one, thats why I am curious :)
