Hello gentlemen,
Welcome to the internet, I see you have similar experience but differing conclusions... Please fight for our amusement.
@Sulu987 @Supra321 You may begin
Greetings, I would do a memphis suspension raise, extend the axels and run a 325 michelin x ice on the wheels. Suspension and axel work should eliminate any rubbing. Michelin x ice tires will make the car completely unique in texas and will handle rain better than any hoosier on the market.
I have the clutch master shifter bushing and the Fx1000 clutch. Can confirm it feels like shit engaging first gear.
shifter travel between 3rd and second or from 1st to second is also garbage.
In any case I wasn't expecting much, aftermarket in the automotive industry is basically shithead...
Imo the reason to pick a supra after owning a Porsche would be with a specific purpose in mind. The Porsche is objectively better in every way. But if you're looking to do a significant deviation from stock, have a tuner car feel, a modification journey, for example a big T51R turbo mt supra...
If you're going to use gpt you'll have to prompt properly and go deeper than 1 layer. Instruct an agent to find all available data from real applications, shops, users etc about the efficacy of each of the 4 aftermarket categories for cooling parts. It'll find the track thread or the cool me...
Both are stock and I have no issues so far up to 35 psi. Just noticed you live in Vancouver. Whichever tire you pick make sure the heat profile is A or better. At night track tires with a lower rating never get to optimal temp and become super squirrely at high boost.
Stock one do fine at that range to be honest. I 14K miles north of 700whp with stock heat exchanger and radiator. Go with an intake manifold. Data supports it.
I'm gonna go ahead and assume that handling isn't a priority if he wants that much power. I'm with you on most of that. But I just don't think A052 are a good option since he'll want to run less camber for straight line.
I’ve got an MT making around 700–800, and honestly Cup 2s just aren’t a good street tire. The heat profile isn’t right unless you live somewhere super hot and drive like an absolute animal. My 305/30 RE71RS are awesome for lapping on pump gas, but they start to struggle on E once you’re past ~33...
A052 is still the hero lap king with proper camber iirc. Problem is they have 3 laps in them per session before they get greasy. Or maybe thats just my shit driving
