I know the tires are crap but for the time being save me some time and let me know what pressure I should be targeting. I have been chalking to look at rollover but other than that any suggestions to max out the grip from the PSSs?
Here is my summary. Most people feel yes it is worth it. It is inexpensive and very easy install. Noone that I am aware of has reported any CEL or drivability issues. If you add a little E85 to the tank the gains are likely greater and may carry over to the track.
Yup I would be the ECU is pulling timing under hard repetitive bouts of driving and the higher alcohol content is correcting whatever the ECU is seeing that it doesn’t like.
Adding E85 changes the burn characteristics as well as the energy density of the fuel. It adds a whole bunch of knock resistance but more fuel is required at all times. It also has a nice "cooling affect" resulting in lower EGTs. Corn is the bomb. In order for us to see significant benefits in...
No as is typical for me I dialed it up to "11" lol. Still no issues on 93. I wish I had more of a reference for before the JB+ but 4 pounds of boost has got to have an effect so thumbs up from my point of view.
I had the car out on the track this weekend JB+ installed. I was a little concerned about IATs with the extra boost. I imagine the ECU would just pull timing if the engine entered knock territory but I I added a bottle of octane booster to my tank full of 93. I know it probably doesn't do...
It frickin worked!!! I'm not sure it was the diagnostics mode or just not running the car but it coded and I confirmed the memory feature is active. Thanks a bunch. It was my numero uno irritating feature. Now a thing of the past.
I'm using Bimmercode with OBDlink MX+ tried multiple times. Turned off engine to reset things same result. I get to the piont of coding everything seems normal, it looks like it is writing the code then a pause and it says error failed to code DMU
Well the one feature I really wanted to code kept giving me an error. I tried to turn the Autostop memory on but when I got to the code point I kept getting an error and message saying failed to code. I tried turning off the engine to reset the ECU same result. Tried it multiple times. The ECU...
Well the one thing I really wanted to code was the memory feature for autostop. When I tried to code I got error coding the ECU failed. Is this something with the 2023s?
