Mine read 18.2 MPG last I checked, that's with an ethanol blend and frequented spirited driving, so that definitely does not sound right.
Might have to just get it checked. Call local BMW dealers and see if they're okay with checking out a fuel issue on a B58 Supra. (Don't go to Toyota if a BMW...
Oh no, I know about the secret menu! It's just quicker and almost as accurate to do the "range divided by average MPG" than to go into the secret menu every time I stop at the pump.
I'll hit you up if I want to save some money on it, although that's something I'd rather just buy brand new personally. Thanks though!
The Connect app is always wildly inaccurate for me, often by a gallon or more.
Instead, if you cycle through your dash info and divide your remaining...
i stick my finger into the fuel tank then hold it up to the open breeze, just like the pioneers used to do.
right now I just use ethanol blend calculators and review my JB4 logs semi-frequently, haven't seen anything out of the ordinary. I'm aware that I really need to A) actually test my local...
Yeah, I primarily went conservative with that map with him, and didn't have dragy to compare times with at the time.
I have a catless DP on order so after I install that I plan to re-do my Map 6 with him. Looking forward to what we can make happen
Stock downpipe - MST V2 Intake + JB4 Jesse Map 6 + roughly E30 (RaceTrak E85, so jury's out on its actual ethanol content...)
My Jesse map was made last year when I was sticking to 93 Octane, so I don't know if that has any negative impact. Car feels quicker for sure with E30 on that map so I'd...
In an ideal world the MK6 rolls with a refined version of the inline 6 Mazda's working on and runs a low-ish power hybrid motor with a battery just big enough that you could run electric only for 15-20 miles on a charge.
Get the best of both worlds out of it. A genuine, quick sports car with a...
You absolutely are if you don't de-tune your low & mid RPM's to reduce your peak torque. Plenty of dyno sheets of guys with ~500 WHP making 600+ torque on this platform.
Kind of funny to put into perspective that Z fanboys have been paying 15-20K+ extra for their Nismo Editions with a modest body kit, seats, slightly different exhaust, and 5% power bump for 20 years now. Guess this is how it feels, except most Supra owners know the markup isn't actually very...
I'm ricer enough to like the GR sticker in a way :dunno:
better $10 for a sticker than $10K+ for the final edition when I don't really need or care for the other additions though.
Some people sit in just the right position that their elbow is over or right next to the cup holder so having covers gives them a more comfortable spot for their elbow.
It's really my only gripe with the center is the cup holders aren't in the best spot.
Not sure how much extra camber lowering will give, but I run 12 MM front and 15 MM rear and think it's about as good as you can get on the stock wheels. Front might need a 13+ with added camber.
Something you see with some automatic transmissions is the top 1-2 gears are moreso "economy gears" that aren't really meant for performance driving, that could possibly have something to do with it.
I know in my old 370z the Jatco 7SPD's 6th and 7th gears won't throttle blip on downshifts, and...
can we please stop with the politics and return to the topic at hand on whether or not electric cars are all just a sham to make car enthusiasts miss exhaust sounds enough to accept straightpipe fartcan VQ's and Boxer's?
