Could’ve gotten jacked up during shipping. It’s not uncommon for a body panel to have thicker paint (from a re-spray) even on a brand new car. That said, for a panel to have been replaced with another that was a totally different color and re-painted, odd but plausible.

And to add about the QuickJacks, you want the car level when you do an oil change. Because of the shape of the pan and location of the plug putting the front on ramps will leave a good amount of oil in there. So QuickJacks, 4 jack stands, all 4 tires on ramps, etc.
