Is there a coilover option that retains the active dampening ?

The stock tires are decent, but they're not incredibly sticky. If you do any sort of drag or heavy highway driving they have trouble putting the power to the ground. They spin quite a bit.

I see everyone running MPS4's but not convinced from what I've heard. What tire setup should I run if I'm not drag racing the car but still want grip in 2nd? Common street setup's are with the r888r's but it rains quite a bit in Florida.. so I was going to go with falken rt660's.. maybe even cup 2's?
