Itās pretty sad how bad the ādealsā have gotten. I know we are in a post ācovidā world, but I remember seeing at some really good deals before the car market went crazy. Lower miles than your example, too.
A Nissan dealership for me was doing a bidding war on the new Z, itās wild to see how after a few days, the bid was already at 80k..just get a Porsche at that point, smh. Please
bookmarked. I think Iām just going to chill for now, no rush on the car really, already have something pretty reliable to drive. I also donāt really need it when it comes down to it. But definitely hoping to secure a manual se or (maybe)8 speed auto in strat blue.
My main plan is to wait to see if I can get a manual premium Supra at msrp (or very close).
If that doesnāt work, Iāve honestly been thinking about getting a refreshed M340i. There comes a point where paying over 60k for a non-special edition Supra becomes ridiculous.
M240i is nice but may as...
Beautiful. Meanwhile, I donāt even know if any of my local dealers will get any. And I doubt theyāll be for msrp if so, definitely expecting 10k markups.
Not sure about this color anymore. During the reveal it looked good. After seeing āirlā pictures, it just looks dull in certain lighting. Misano Blue/Refraction looks 10x more fun/better to me.
After spending some time with both the 2.0 and 3.0 AT GR Supra, theyāre very impressive cars. But if all I wanted to do was go fast, Iād just buy a Tesla Model 3 Performance and call it a day (plus save money on gas). Heck, even on the BMW side, a 2020 tuneable M340i would probably be a better...
Literally one of the dumbest insults of all time as itās basically a compliment. A Toyota with luxury brand parts? How is that a bad thing again?
I rented a GR Supra last month on vacation and itās one of the best cars Iāve ever driven. I donāt know that current toyota wouldāve done a better...
It kinda sucks that most dealerships around me are treating this as a second Supra launch..with all the markup they are trying to charge. Still waiting on a dealership to say they have allocations and will take deposits for an msrp purchase.
My wallet is legitimately ready for the MT Supra. I already have a good daily and can swing the manual. But I'm not paying $64k-$69k for the car, that's M3 money. I have never paid over MSRP for a car and won't start now. With that said, I can't fault many stealerships for charging over MRSP...
Wheels in general would be the first thing I change out. None of the stock Supra wheel designs/colors have been nice imo.
Just got done talking to two dealerships. Both will be selling above msrp, one at $10k above msrp. Found a third that claims they will sell at msrp but weāll see. None are...
