Sold her! I was given an offer I couldn't pass up. Plus I got an email the other day saying the Supra connect was about to expire, and the warranty technically expires next year so I wanted to get rid of it before the value took a nose-dive. It was fun but it's time to move on. Going to be doing...
Freakin same! Except I waited at the dealer for almost an hour before they told me. I'm only on H&R springs which don't produce that drastic of a drop.
Yea I had an alignment done right after I lowered the car about a year ago. I got the new tires installed two weeks ago but then I went on vacation for two weeks and just got back. I'm going to get another alignment and see if that helps, if not, I'll go with 10mm spacers up front. Loving the...
I recently had a set of tires installed on my stock wheels. I also have spacers on my car which are 13mm in the front and 15mm in the rear, I'm also lowered by 0.8".
Tires are
265/35/19
285/35/19
During heavy load the front tires rub a bit and I've posted a photo. Not sure if it would help...
Now is definitely not a good time to buy a car unfortunately, it's a sellers market. I bought my 2020 brand new back when covid first hit so I paid way below msrp (think $40k range). Nowadys dealers are marking up everything; seeing a MKV go for $60k+ is pretty much the norm. Sure if you have...
You don't HAVE to go through a dealer. Nothing but amsoil touches the internals of my engine and I always order from Amsoil direct. I'm still rocking 0W-20 however but my next oil change I'll go to 5W-30.
Good rule of thumb buying a used car is to change the oil soon after purchasing it. Intervals for this car thereafter are every 5k miles although some people do it at 3.
No actually, both the front and rears are still 35's. Maybe it's due to the sidewall being more rounded compared to the Michelins? Nevertheless, this is the look I love.
Got some much needed tires. Decided to go with the Continental extreme contact sports in 265/285. I love the way they look and despite not going full balls to the wall during my drive home, I can tell the sidewall is much stiffer than the PSS's.
The PSS's handled 14000 miles and two track days...
I've had the emergency braking kick in a couple years ago (I've since disabled it because it's annoying), but I've never had the cross traffic alert pop up when backing out of a space and a car is zooming down the lane.
