Wow, you guys all run very high pressures in your rear tires. I've found my car works best at 32 to 33 lbs in the rear on a AutoX course. Going above that reduces rear grip on corner exit. On course I run with the all the grannies off.
Just turned, 72 AutoX mine. Also drive some on the street, enjoy watching people when I drive into a parking lot, expecting some young guy from The Fast and the Furious get out. Last local Autocross I was fastest car against 47 other Drivers.
I'm wondering what the top speed in each gear will be. I think the Auto is geared to low, especially for Autocross. I often start in second gear and short shift to 3rd as most course speeds are between 30 and 70mph. If there is a slower corner flipping back to 2nd isn't an issue but could be in...
I AutoX my car and run 285/30/18's RT660's on all 4. I bought a set of the factory wheels for a 2.0 car as they have the same offsets and rim widths (SCCA rules). The fronts would rub on the stock shocks but I have a set of Motion Control double adjustable shocks on the car. They have a smaller...
Typically if Fastrack recommends the change it happens. The new rule book should be out soon. I'm counting on is as I was one of the people who wrote letters to the SEB requesting the change. The 20 Supra which is in BS isn't that much different to the 21 and the 21 isn't competitive in A...
I'm pulling mine with a 2020 GMC Sierra with 4 wheel drive. It has the 3.0 straight 6 Diesel. It has averaged 17mpg pulling my open trailer, 22mpg around town and 26 to 28 on the highway depending on the wind. 460lbs of torque it is the best Truck I've ever had.
I'm running, 18 the Yok A052 295/30 on the rear and the Azenis Rt660 275 on the front. The Yok needs at least 2 degrees neg camber up front or the sides wear out fast. I'm now thinking the car needs a larger front sway bar.
I am running my 2021 3.0 in "AS" or A Street at SCCA Autocross events. The best 200 TW tries for this only come in 18" wheel sizes. The rules will let you go up or down one inch in diameter but the width has to be the same. Finding a 18X9 wheel with the correct bolt pattern was difficult. I...
