You probably won't have much luck at 1k. In 2022ish prices peaked around 700-800 from what I remember and nowadays you'd be lucky to get half for scrap recycling.

My advice is to just keep it to bundle with the car when you sell it, or just re-install. A lot of dealers won't take a car without the stock cat.
