So after trying to unFK my suspension issues the shop I am going to now noticed that the front of my car is actually 1 inch higher than my rear. This would be negative rake correct?
I tried doing some research on rake angles for this car and didn't find a whole lot. What would be a general rule of thumb to go by for a positive rake angle?
Right now it would appear we are introducing some unnecessary drag coefficient with the front being higher. My understanding is that a positive rake would allow the air coming into the front to expand into a larger volume of space at the rear. By doing so as the air travels from front to rear the pressure drops which sucks the car into the road.
I'm not even sure if any of this really matters when considering we are working with a 60k vehicle. Still I would like to hear everyones opinion on this and if there is an optimal angle I would like to know.
Thank you,
