Got a not so great update from my dealer today…

Apparently the VIN isn’t coming up in the system anymore. I had another dealer check this for me and they’re telling me the same. They said they’ve reached out to the Toyota rep to find out what’s going on. Worst case scenario, I cancel my deposit with this dealer and get it from a dealer that has one in the showroom. But it will need to be shipped longer distance so probably a few hundreds more to ship. Not a big deal but at least I know it’s coming. But hoping for good news in the morning…

Have you considered flying out to where its at and drive it home for Plan B?

It would be a cross country drive so I would prefer not to do that. Still waiting on my shipper to give me a quote but I expect it to be slightly more than shipping from Cali
