Hello all!

My Supra was built on 03/09/2022. Per my dealer's tracking, it arrived in port on 04/25/2022. It has not arrived at the dealer yet, and they have no idea when it might show up. Is it typical for the car to hang around in port for a month or more? I want to be driving and not waiting! Like a kid before Christmas! Cheers, Tom

Could have failed some quality checks or got some damage and/or waiting for a part... and/or simply backed up due to all craziness. It happened and happens. maybe someone knows the latest at the port...

Hopefully it didnā€™t get damaged at port or the transport process. I seen some where they will go to fix the damagesā€¦.
It's either shortage on part or damage on one.. We've seen both.. crazy times.

Does the dealership have to disclose if there is any damage to the vehicle?

I've been waiting on mine also, but nowhere near as bad as your timeline.

Production Confirmed - 1/22/22
Build Completed - 2/15/22
Vessel Depart - 3/26/22
Vessel Arrive - 4/29/22
Port Processing Complete - 5/14/22 (F Status)
Ground Status (G) - 6/7/22

Still waiting, but it seems normal (especially right now) for cars to sit at the port for almost 2 months before being loaded on a truck to the dealer.

If you know how to look at the source code for the status, what is your dealerCode? A or F? If you don't know, PM me your VIN.

Mine was held up for 2.5 months because the front bumper cover was damaged and replaced. Luckily, my dealer was even able to describe the damage in detail, and I was fine with it in the end. Sh!t happens.

Not always the case but when a car sits a port for an extended period of timeā€¦ I highly recommend buying a paint gauge (less than $100). Checking all the body panels for possible repaint or repair. The paint gauge won't lie.

The first new Supra I was about to purchase off the showroom floor had the rear quarter panel resprayed. Next.

~ As soft as the paint is on these cars... I would have had to pass. A resprayed panel chips up twice as fast as a factory painted panel. Hope you wrapped it in ppf?

Itā€™s not missing any parts, itā€™s a BMW not a Ford. The Supra cars are built in Austria, they have a lot more to do in order to get released at the port. I sell Toyotas, mine was at the port for 6 months before it arrivedā€¦
