RPM stuck at 3000 for a brief second

I wanted to see if this happened to anybody else.

I started the car, as it was in park. I revved the engine in normal mode just to hear the exhaust. When the RPM quickly rose to 3000RPM it briefly got stuck for 1-1.5 secs and the needle on the dash got stuck there too. Because I still have pumped-in engine noises it sounded like the car was glitching for a second. Then it dropped back down to normal idle.

After that weird happening, I revved the engine a couple of more times to make sure everything was okay and it was fine. Wondering if this had happened to anybody else.

I think this came up a long time ago. Can't recall the specifics but I believe it only happens on cold revs.
This happened and freaked me out on the day I took possession of the LE at the dealership back in 2019... Actually I had zero intentions of revving a brand new car off the lot but my above n beyond rep wanted. I'm like ok then. Never experienced it again because I never really needlessly revved at cold start..
