335 Toyota - No Keys :0

According to the service manager, these cars are all tow-ins for no key. With no ETA, that is CRAZY. they have only been parked for “3 weeks.”

Maybe a dealer bought them, and realized no keys exist anymore? Or the owners lost they keys they had. These keys are on indefinite backorder from the supplier and cost lotss of money.

B/o NO ETA isn’t that uncommon. They’ll be available eventually I’m sure. Probably just having supply issues ? i had a BMW at the shop I work at for over two months and the customer decided to just tow it out.. i wonder sometimes if that key is available now, according to bmw they sublet the keys to a key center in Germany and rely on their supplies

You can still get keys, you just have to go through BMW unless they're also backordered through them. Toyota completely discontinued the keys so not only is there no ETA; you won't ever get one from Toyota (unless a dealership has some sitting around that they're willing to sell).
