I'd say whoever made the render a long while ago did a pretty decent job.

Yeah, honestly I really liked that render! Best looking bimmer by a mile IMO. I guess we'll see in a couple weeks if it holds up.

Edit: Just as a note, you can see that the Z4 has the same radar/camera system in the windshield as the Supra, which makes sense. Windshield might even be the same.

I like it! I like that they're moving to a more svelte/slender design for the sheetmetal. Never liked how fat BMWs looked.

The guys over at Bimmerpost are shitting all over this thing.

It's the same tired old line unfortunately. "Doesn't look like the concept!!!1! I H8 IT!".

With how few cars look like their concepts, you'd think people would expect it by now? Concept cars are not limited by (ever-more stringent) production car guidelines. Cars like the i8 and LC500 are similar to their concepts only because the designers used production styling guidelines before revealing the concept to the public. It's a fun party trick, but it's sleight of hand really. And cars as "concepty" as the i8 absolutely do not age well.

For example, here's one of the Z4 concepts:

And here's the MKIV Supra Concept:

Believe it or not, at one point, these concepts looked cool. Now? Well...

Regardless, I'm getting off-topic. Let's hope both the Supra and Z4 look good now and look okay in a decade.

Even though you want to be back on topic, that mkiv concept looks like a Tesla, jesus christ.

Burn it with fire

Bimmerpost seems to hate the hood cut line
I was talking about the line that starts with the fender vent and goes to the top of the rear fender and into the taillight. Besides.. most BMW fans are ......... lol
