6 Port Supra B58 Big Turbo Options

My friend upgraded his KLM setup, so I’m planning to grab his Precision 6870 NG and need a bottom mount kit to go with it.

I’m looking at the Big Boost kit since it supports T4 divided but I haven’t been able to reach them to confirm if they sell the kit separately.

Anyone know if they do? Or have other bottom mount kit suggestions that work with a 6870 NG other then the ones already suggested on page 1?

So after alot of back-and-forth with multiple vendors and evaluating various kits, I ended up going with the Doc Racing kit with the Precision 6870 NG turbo. With it I ordered their stainless steel WG lines & fittings and separately I got a SpeedTech shorty turbo inlet air filter and the BMS catch-can with oil cap vent. Although I was looking for a bottom mount setup, there wasn't much available or enough information for me to consider. Overall, I found the Doc Race kit to be the best value for power. I am super excited to get this installed and report back with my review.

I should have it installed in the coming weeks and will report back. As for support, it was quite good during the purchasing process, and when the package arrived everything was meticulously packed and appeared complete. I’ll only know how responsive they are once the installation begins.

Well, here’s something. A twin scroll setup with OEM like response that is capable of far greater engine output. For those interested or curious, the only true equal length manifold on the market. T4 divided with stepped runners, quite the sound. Not a kit, but the manifold can be purchased from Alunox.

CES has a bottom mount kit in development. I believe it’s external WG also.

Unfortunately, it’s not a kit. Only thing available appears to be the manifold. It doesn’t appear to be available off the shelf from Alunox as a kit but it could be done and it has been done. The first kit I know that was produced was for Tom Wrigley’s M240i a while back.

Also wanted to echo some of the recent discussion as far as water cooled CHRA, IMO this should always be used on a street car. It’s a little bit of extra complexity but I guess the larger turbos don’t need it as much as in theory they don’t get as hot. Not an expert on this but I’m personally going for water cooled.

Thanks for finding that, dunno why I couldn’t see it on their site unless maybe it just got posted.
The mani looks great, seems pretty compact as well. Curious if the sound, I’m a nerd but the turbo manifold design seems to have such an impact on the exhaust sound, really want to experience this kit in person lol.
seems they were targeting a lower cost top mount option but they are approaching KLM/ETS.
BMR seems to make quality stuff though, IMO this is definitely near the top of the list now.

edit: anybody know if this style manifold is easier or harder to properly heat shield, compared to what I’ll call a standard tubular manifold? Like header shield for example, not the do it yourself wrap. Curves are super smooth here.

edit2: they updated their site as of 10/31 with this new kit, looks great and is priced lower than that original link. $5100 with no turbo or CC. $7950 with a TS1 6870

@shaloot idk if that brace on car is removable (optional to use)but mine isn’t using it; but down pipe is not budging at all. Just tried to shake it and it’s pretty solid in place. I liked the ETS kit because turbo does sit lower, I’ve seen folks say KLM can rub on hood or doesn’t allow braces to be used.
