Is there any real good gains with a aftermarket catted downpipe?

On it's own, no. But it's incredibly restrictive. If you want to tune the boost up at all, you really need a downpipe.

Im looking at a JB4 soon, and was wondering if it made sense to add a catted downpipe as i dont want the service engine light on. Of its only good for 5hp i wouldnt do it lol.

It helps a lot when combining with a jb4 on its own the active autowerke catted dp is around 20hp, but it’s the one that guarantees no check engine light 100%. Send me a message if you want one, can get you one and take ur oem dp in on trade make it super cheap to do

Hello from Washington State. Absolute Zero CF bought in Jan 22 at Larson Toyota in Tacoma. I promised my wife I would leave the exhaust stock, but everything else is fair game. Ordered the full HKS carbon intake, Cusco rear power brace, underbody rear brace and Tanabe front strut brace.

installed any of those mods yet?

Na I doubt it, just not a lot of owners on here. I personally ordered mine but I work at Toyota. Seems like those that “stumbled” upon it are the ones paying the crazy market adjustments.

I was lucky to find 2 within my area. A White one and a Phantom Grey one.

Dang.. wish I'd stumble across one. I think I'm going to sell my STI this year and get my second Supra.. But since I already have a 3.0L Premium (black), I don't want just another regular Premium in white..

Ideally, I was hoping for a refresh..

Unfortunately, not an option. Even if you decide to not buy the MANUAL TARGA S58, Toyota will require your arms and legs.
