Hot take, don't be lazy and unclip the ride height sensor, risking damaging it. Unbolt the top of the mechanism where it's mounted to the car, it takes 30 seconds.

The top portion unbolts entirely and is super easy.

Also take a picture of the orientation. It might seem obvious, but when you're tired later you could forget since the arm could angle either direction and look correct when it's not.
I don't know if the 2022 are different but I was not able to unclip it. I just removed the nut, bolt, or screw. But Yeah I forgot to take a picture of the front and I think I removed a screw and bolt and I forgot how to put it back together until I found a pic online.

Thanks team. Would you still suggest turning it 90° past the torque setting

Lowered the car! Christ I’m getting to old to do this!

I did find a hack on front if your doing the install by yourself, use a long 6mm Allen head and stick it down the top hat into the strut top, this way you can help guide the strut up as you jack.

on a side note, what is the typical ride height tolerance from side to side, my rear from left to right is 1/8”different. Anybody else have this.

Mine was relatively equal across the car.

I'm getting a weird low frequency noise, only when lightly braking on the driver front side... (also noticed with the wheels off I had bad cupping on the inside of the driver front, don't know if it is related).

Anyone have this occur after installing springs?
