Anyone installed the Adro wing with their taller/high-rise uprights yet? I’m wondering if the downforce rating is increased from the original wing since it’s much closer to “clean” air at a similar height to the Verus UCW wing.

I like the look of the Adro wing but also want the track functionality. One downside seems to be it’s a “fixed” angle wing whereas the Verus wings have adjustable angle capability. I’ve talked to Verus and they’re almost done with pre-orders for their V1X swan neck wing so hopefully we’ll start seeing those on cars soon and hopefully those that track the car will have some feedback on it. The hiccup for putting my order in with Verus is its 5k price tag! Yoouuuccchhiieee…

Super on the fence about the Adro Wing, got the whole kit except for the wing. The only two issues that are really holding me back on the wing are the cutting the massive hole on the under side of the trunk lid and the possibility of a warped trunk lid. Is the interior trunk panel replaceable or would it require a whole new trunk lid? Also is there a possibility of the warping the lid ? Hope
To hear your thoughts!!

Spage. This is what the serious time attack and track people have

That looks mean as hell
It definitely looks better on this video (showing the wing under normal lighting and a full 360 of the car with wing) than those heavily digital processed videos or images

Quick question. Since I both drag and track my car. I know 200lbs is good amount of down force to where it does not hinder the performance of car that much in the straights and is a good amount on track. Yes I want it for looks, and I want it to be functional sometimes lol. I know there is no do it all track and drag car. However, my question is.... is it adjustable like the verus one? To where I can adjust it to have max down force, but also adjust it to give me the least amount of downforce.

Nothing I can see from the video that shows any part of the wing is adjustable

it’s clearly not designed for serious track work or time attacks

It is technically adjustable but from what I can tell the variation is so minor it may as well be non-adjustable. If I remember I'll try and snap an image of how it works.

When I was looking into it before purchasing, I too found absolutely zero information about the adjustability except that it was adjustable.. which it turns out is largely a misnomer.

That’s good information

OK this changes things. This is awesome
I'm not a fan of the design of the taller uprights though. I think the original, lower height uprights look better and have a nicer swooping back design. These kind of look off in my opinion. For the taller height, I feel like an underside mount would have made this look better. But again, just my opinion.

It's adjustable by 6 degrees (confirmed with ADRO). Similar to @BMWAF, I'm honestly not sure how much of an effect this actually has on downforce. I assume there is an effect since Verus' wing can be adjusted just as much (and more).

FWIW, it's a noticeable visual difference in my opinion but I've seen these wings on multiple Supras in both configurations. Here's a picture of mine where it's angled down and a picture of A90mvmt's where it's straight.

"Adjustable"

This is true. I actually think the way we both have our wings setup is the only way it looks right. ?

thats good information to have I'll probably keep it straight for the most part when I get one as I mostly drag and roll race my car. I'll test the difference in drggy later on to see if there is any difference at all. If it's too much of difference that it will hinder my performance I'll probably take it off and on. From the look of those bolts it looks easy to take off and put on again.
