Hello all,
So I am trying to install a kill switch to my car so I can power off the car when not using it for a long periods of time. (I also have some rgb modules aka star headliner, turn signal and rear brake lights soon to have the headlight drls color spec.) Just want to make sure my car doesn't drain battery with all these components so I installed a fail safe aka the kill switch.
I have the kill switch all hooked up and installed and noticed that when the car is off and I lock the car then turn the kill switch on. The car security sirens turn on. But they do not turn on if I have the car unlocked and then use the kill switch.
With that being said, is there any way to prevent this and de-active the sirens on the car. I believe it might be that the car thinks someone broke into the doors or the hood.
Thanks,
Jon
