Aliexpress B58 Gen2 Manifolds??

Hi guys,

I've just bought an Aliexpress b58 gen2 manifold (The one pictured). I am just wondering is someone else running this and what is your feedback?

I bought my mom's pacemaker off Aliexpress and it lasted 9 months. You should be fine.

A couple of guys out here run the manifold, no one has mentioned any sort of bad effects coming from them.

Don’t know if I would take the risk of any of the welds failing on a W2A integrated manifold/intercooler.

I mean - can't this thing leak and dump coolant into your cylinders?

At least you would get your valves clean, and hopefully it happens when the engine is running so it burns off instead of hydrolocking your engine.

I understand that many components in Automobiles are made in countries that have cheap labor and questionable QA practices - but I really question anything that is coming from China and India.

This is basically the same one that most shops are offering as their "House brand" manifold. I thought about selling them but honestly they wont work very well. Will have to add stuff to make it some what effective.

No quantitative data. Useful in particular other than that the IATs were low enough to switch from using meth kits for cooling. That, and nothing has failed yet.

Definitely hyped to see OPs experience on the manifold assuming it’s not a shill.

my buddy ran one of these manifolds on his 540i (also gen 2 b58 for those who don't know) with an upgraded DAW turbo and his leaked constantly ended up removing it and has gone back to stock.
