Hi all! I purchased a set of these stripes, but I am fearful I will hose up the installation. (not a huge risk, as they were about $40, but I'd rather do it right the first time) Does anyone have any tips for an easy installation? Thanks! Tom

Lol y'all can read the question, right?

With any sticker or decal application not rushing is your best friend. If you are able I would suggest doing it in a garage just to limit wind and dust in the air while outside.

First step is you want to prep the area. Get rid of any waxes, ceramic , dirt etc. Use your favorite detailer or best bet is clay lube and a clay bar to really remove contaminants. Dry thoroughly and your ready to mock it up.

If they are properly sized and cut placement should be fairly easy since they start at the top edge of the car. So if you get the alignment right up there by the window things should be fine. I would suggest mocking it up with some painters tape first if you want some extra guidelines before you pull off the protective back.

Tape it down to make sure you have it sitting right and then place painters tape on the edges to create a guide to follow while you stick. Meaning you should have an outline of painters tape around where it's going to sit, kind of like stencil.

Once you have it mocked up, take the decal and peel some of the backing off from the top edge (part by the window) but don't pull the backing all the way off. Just enough to get the top stuck down on the edge.

Slowly apply the decal while removing the backing as you go and apply pressure but by bit to avoid bubbling. If you have a little squigee laying around from putting a screen protector on that can help apply it cleanly and work out and minor bubbles while you go. No squigee? Grab something soft but with a flat edge that way if you press too hard you don't damage the decal or your paint when "scraping" it.

If you go slow enough and only apply it little by little you should avoid any bubbles entirely.

Anyways. Hope this helps. I personally love the A91 stripes. Post pics when you are done!

These are the measurements. If you know someone with an actual A91, ask if you can use their car as reference. Slowly squeegee apply the vinyl onto the paint little by little, BE PATIENT. Any little wrinkle creasing/ airbubbles will come out naturally with the car sitting in the sun for about a week. Don't poke at it or try anything funny. Just let it naturally dissipate.

@Axix23 Bro, on an unrelated note, those Tarantula legs in your profile picture look amazing delicious.
haha. Can’t wait to go back to the beach this summer to eat some more!!! My photo actually got featured in some review page for their restaurant in Pensacola beach.
