Found this out putting on a DP.
Seems like a defective gasket.

Have you checked you diff seal first? There are supras experiencing this and it will drop down to the trans pan. The diff seal sits right above it. Because of the angle of the car, it will drop right on to it. Check that first.

Ok. Definitely get the car fixed. Since it's still under warranty, I would recommend doing it right away.

A leaking diff would not manifest itself as residual oil on the trans pan. Both are in totally different areas. Unless you drove high speeds in reverse and wind/airflow got diff oil forwards up onto trans, not ever gonna happen. FYI.

Diff= rear differential. Its on the other end of the driveshaft from the trans... Diff seal does not sit right above it.

I am just trying to help out. I just had my diff seal replaced about 2 weeks ago from the dealership. What was shown to me by the mechanic was up near the trans pan. You have to really look for it. I thought the same thing as you are right now that it was the seal on the pan itself; however, when I saw exactly where it was coming from, you could miss it easily. I because of driving, it will send the oil all over the pan itself. Its the first place it's going to go. I would recommend just having it checked out. Its still under warranty, it's not going to hurt you in the pocket. The sooner you get it checked up the lesser the damage. Good luck.

Maybe he's talking about valve cover gasket.

I had my pan and gaskets replaced under warranty already, and something is still leaking. When I had it jacked up the other day the pan was covered in fluid again. Possibly the Mechatronic connector passthrough seal right above the pan dripping down, will have to jack the car up and remove the undertray again to verify. Only other possibility is trans output seal... very annoying though

I think your right. I don’t believe it’s coming from the gasket. It’s minor enough right now that I haven’t taken it to the dealer.
I dont want to take it to the dealer until I find out where it’s coming from. I gotta find time to lift it up and check.

Just put the car back up on jack stands and checked out the transmission seal and the mechatronics bulkhead passthrough... I didn't see any fluid trails from either, so I am going to have to let it go for a bit longer and hope that it leaves a breadcrumb this time. I cleaned everything with brake clean so, hopefully I can spot the culprit...

Does OP or anyone have any follow up on this?

I picked up my Supra last month and am at 2000 miles. I had my car on stands when doing studs and spacers and decided to check because a friend mentioned it, I found quite a bit of fluid. But it seems scentless almost, unlike trans fluid. Hoping to hear what info OP may have.

I've seen two at my dealership with this issue, sadly one being mine. Trans seal leaking down to the oil pan. Take it into the dealership, warranty repair

Oh Jesus, how long did it take for the car to be repaired? Did they give you a loaner in the mean time?

I had my dealer check my car one day and brought it back a week later after they had tools and parts in. Supra tech is on my team so I made sure it was a one day repair. Not a bad time to add an exhaust because that will need to be dropped for the repair
