Few weeks ago, found that my drain plug was over tightend, causing the plug to spin. Toyota has agreed to replace the pan. I'm dropping it off tomorrow. Any one know if you need to pull the motor to replace the pan? Trying to gage if I need to remove my jb4 prior to dropping it off

If you are worried about it I would take it off.

I wouldn’t expect there to be any reason for an engine removal. However, I would always remove the JB4 before a trip to the dealer if it’s easily done. Just because. (Don’t have one so not sure how easy/hard it is to remove.)

I think they drop the sub-frame to replace it. Best to remove JB4.
