Anyone install a Vargas GC or GC+ Turbo ?

I have a GC in my 340i for over a year. Run a custom e30 tune. It’s faster than a M5 Comp, which I raced multiple times . I’ve been very happy with mine. I heard some concerns about using a Vargas in the past, however I’ve also heard their GC line has been solid.

I’d love to see some pics and videos of those races and your setup if you have them.

Never recorded them. Since then I’ve also been able to slightly pull on a m4 comp with a JB 4 that dyno’d at 600 rwhp. I doubt my car makes that much, the 2016 340i are lighter by a 400-500lbs. I’m sure that’s the key factor.

My car looks stock, Even the engine bay. All that shows in an aftermarket intake and hard pipe kit. I also have huge 6pot breaks I got after noticing the stock ones didn’t works so great given the car’s new acceleration.

Here are some pics, I also have ST XA coilovers. I’m probably going to get a dorch stage 2 HPFP, tune it again, and stiffer roll bars. I’m sure my tuned supra will get an initial slight slight lead, but the 340i will probably real it in. I wanna film that race. I do have a custom e40 tune with all the goodies on my supra and just loaded the XHP tune. It might be close.

Or you can go Remnant Performance Turbo kit. If I have not went top mount I definitely would’ve gone this direction.

Yeah Im not planning on a top mount I need a down mount. I will most likely go with remnant. However, not any time soon. I got a friend who went with their turbos, and I gotta say I was not disappointed. Also, I'm going to wait either way because if any issues arise with the first batches.

I have the GC-Mid and am not a fan of the posts I have seen from Tony, but mine has taken a beating(200ish passes) and had good results with it being a small turbo. Went 10.2 on the stock fuel system and just hit a 10.0 with Spool HPFP. I am currently at 610WHP and 630TQ, If you want to see the results I post a bunch of my races on IG. Pure 800 will give you more potential if your looking to push 700whp.
