So today I noticed my phone wasnt connected to the car and I couldn’t get the car to connect via bluetooth. The car still had my phone in the list of devices but every time I tried to select it (or any of the devices) it would put up a prompt that stated I needed to call Toyota and listed their 800 number. I deleted the phone from the devices on the car and went through the process to add a new device, which worked, but now Apple CarPlay is no longer an option. I called Toyota Corporate and my local dealer and they both say that my car is now listed as “ineligible” for Apple CarPlay and couldn’t explain why. I have a 2020 Launch Edition so CarPlay is included and have had it since I purchased the car September 2019. Anyone else experience something like this?

I’m due to take the car in to the dealer so they can “research” what’s going on with the car but am curious if anyone else has had a similar experience.
